Sweat F.C coaches are young passionate lovers of the game. All our coaches have deep roots and connections to the sport soccer.
Meet Coach Nicholas
Coach Nicholas is a Trinidad and Tobago native who migrated to America, at age 10 with his twin brother Nathaniel. Both brothers at an early age became, very well known in the New York area amongst the tri state youth soccer clubs. As a youth coach Nicholas enjoyed most, traveling on the subway to attend practices, only to finish his days with New York’s famous halal guys. Coach Nicholas has played on a professional level for Direct TV W Connection, from the age of 19-21. Starting Sweat F.C was a major goal shared by both brothers. Being able to re-create that amazing childhood that soccer was able to bestow on the brothers pushed them both to starting the club.
Meet Coach Raquel
Coach Raquel is a Long Island, New York native. As a kid she attended Babylon H.S playing for her town’s local club team. Raquel grew up playing soccer with her dad Richard, and little brother Rei. Prior to attending college, she experienced a terrible knee injury stopping her playing days short. During her first year of college, she made the decision to still find a way to be involved with soccer. During her times rooming in Brooklyn she noticed how there were little opportunities for kids to enjoy soccer in Brooklyn . Ever since working with Sweat F.C coach India has recently started her own soccer program NYC GIRLS SOCCER CLUB.
